Dexter

If there one show you need to watch during the writer strike, it gotta be Dexter. A Showtime show about Dexter Morgan who works for the Miami police department as a blood pattern analyst. Ok so what? Just another police drama. Their a plenty of them on the tube Fleshy! Right but Dexter is a serial killer. He kills other serial killers who does not get their fair justice. Dexter takes justice into his own blood stained hands.

Dexter was based on a book called "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" by Jeff Lindsay. Between the book and the show, there are many many differences. I won't go into detail since some of it may be spoilers. Any who Dexter is a very well done. The writing, voice over, music and characters just fit so nicely together.

On Sunday, February 17th at 10pm, you need to tune in to CBS and watch this masterpiece. one drawback is that Dexter will be heavily edited. Due to length and profanity. Average hour long show on a prime time network is about 43 minutes. Dexter is about 55 minutes. If edited right, I think Dexter can be good to watch on CBS. If you love the show then please rent or buy season 1 as soon as possible. Watching the unedited version will that much sweeter.

Remember, Sunday February 17th at 10pm. Set your tivos, vcr or whatever you use to record.
