Once a year during January, Speed channel has a 20 hour long car auction. 10 hours on Friday and another 10 hours on Saturday. This auction happens at Scottsdale, Arizona. I tell you what, if your a car guy, this is the place for you. Classics cars, custom cars, celebrity cars and some rare items like Robosaurus going up for auction later today. You know Robosaurus, Giant machine that eats cars and shoots fire. Last night, the original batmobile went for $185,000. That pretty cheap. If your lucky, you can get some nice cars for cheap at this auction. I'm just surprised the thousands of people and cars that come threw this place.
Bidders can bid in person, by phone or by the internet. I just love seeing these people's expressions when their thinking real hard if they want to bid again or not. It doesn't make it easier when they have a camera in their face plus their family giving them the stare down. It cracks me up. I wish i had the money to buy some of these classics.
